Terms of Service

The service

boppi is a web studio for generating music videos, songs and speech using third-party AI models operated by MiniMax. Generated media is produced by those models based on your inputs; boppi provides analysis, planning, editing, rendering and export around them. Features, models and prices may change; we will announce material changes in the changelog.

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity billed to a MiniMax API key you have configured.

Credits, plans and refunds

Credits are prepaid units used to pay for generations. Every action shows its cost before you confirm it. Credits are reserved when a job starts and settled when it succeeds; failed generations are refunded automatically. Subscription credits reset monthly and do not roll over; top-up credits do not expire while your account is active. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.

Your content

You keep all rights to the audio, lyrics, images, voice samples and prompts you upload. You grant boppi a licence to store, process and transmit them (including to MiniMax) solely to provide the service. You confirm that you have all rights needed to use your uploads in this way, including the rights to any music, lyrics and likenesses they contain.

Generated output

Subject to these terms and applicable law, boppi assigns to you whatever rights it holds in the output generated for you. Free-plan exports carry a watermark and are for personal, non-commercial use. Paid plans allow commercial use as described on the pricing page. You are responsible for checking that your use of the output complies with platform rules and the law, and for any third-party rights (for example, music you did not write).

Acceptable use

You may not use boppi to create content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, sexualises minors, harasses or defames real people, or is intended to deceive (including deepfakes of real people without consent). Voice cloning requires that you own the voice or have documented consent from the person whose voice it is. Do not attempt to circumvent credit accounting, rate limits or safety filters, or to reverse engineer the service.

• No impersonation of real people or brands without permission.
• No content that violates MiniMax's usage policies.
• No automated scraping or resale of the service without a written agreement.

Third-party services

Generation depends on MiniMax's API. We are not responsible for its availability, output quality or policy decisions, though we will refund credits for failed jobs. If you use your own MiniMax key, MiniMax's terms and billing apply to those requests.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, unused subscription credits are forfeited; we will provide a reasonable window to export your media except in cases of serious abuse.

Disclaimers and liability

boppi is provided “as is”. AI-generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable; review it before publishing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, boppi's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@boppi.ai.
